Joel Eric Suben conducting

During his first dozen years of conducting professionally in the US and abroad, Joel Suben took every opportunity to include contemporary works in his performances. In 1991, he oversaw the creation of his nonprofit, Save the Music, Inc. Its aim was to bring about the public appreciation and understanding of works by present-day composers and those of the past whose works had been neglected.

Suben’s conducting credits included the Warsaw Philharmonic (1998 Warsaw Autumn Festival), the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Seattle Symphony, the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Moravian Philharmonic, the North Czech Philharmonic, and the Janacek Philharmonic Orchestra.

Here is a selection of some of the recordings Joel Suben made as a conductor.
